Quiet Crickets is a mini-series podcast detailing my wrongful eviction during the quarantine in Mexico City. A rumor started by an ex-boyfriend to gain the support of friends and family in order to cover up his true self while taking my home, money, and destroying the personal and professional relationships that I had built over my four years living here. Now, a year later, I'm losing my second home because of it.
I have until June 25, 2020 to raise the funds and find a new home before my friend/lessor-cum-adversary sends a crew to forcefully evict me.
When my fianceé, Tobias Wong, passed away 10 years ago, I knew it would change my life, but not like this would change like this.
On June 25, 2020 I will be evicted from my home. The lessor has also stolen my savings and prohibited working from home during the quarantine, which has yet to peak. These episodes document my current situation as it is happening, how I ended up here, and some personal reflection as I am looking for a new home and how to afford it in the next two weeks.

Yes, you read that correctly. It sounds more like a telenovela, but this is my life right now.
