Do you have a  skill, expertise, or talent that you'd like to offer to all those
apply

Woot woot!

YOU MADE IT!

The choice to show up, that is. . .

Everyone could use a bit of a distraction/income as we adjust to our new not-normal.

Although this started as s simple way to maintain a handful of personal food-related course clients that had cancelled due to the thing that's happening around the world, I thought that as long as I'm doing it, why not open it up to others.

So! All types of proposals are welcome. I like smart, informative, entertaining, and unique. I like a good variety as well, so I'm open to serious, heavy, and—at the risk of scaring some people off—dark, as well. Just be sure that you are 100% clear on your concept so we can relay that to the public with certainty.

Concepts will not be censored to a reasonable extent. If something seems like a fit after review your application, we'll set up a time to talk and perhaps go through a demo as if it were the real thing.

To give some of those neurons a rest, here's a list of some things I have in mind:

  • Burlesque

  • Basket Weaving

  • Foraging

  • Sustainability

  • Counseling

  • Presentations

  • Wellness

  • Meditation

  • Yoga/Fitness

  • Self-care

  • Workshops

          (all kinds)

  • Home Maintenance

  • Entertainment

  • Music

  • Music Lessons

  • Discussion Groups

  • Book Clubs

  • Support Groups

  • Think Tanks

  • Thumb-twiddling

  • Mechanics

  • Storytelling

What I'm not into:

  • Anything illegal

  • Harm to others

  • Discrimination

  • General douchebaggery

  • Stunts or anything done "for the likes"

Keep in mind that I'm a team of 1, so please allow for any bumps along the way as it all falls into place and your patience is appreciated in advance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Before filling out an application, please take the time to read the following. This will be the Terms and Conditions for Session Holders that you will be agreeing to by submitting the form below.

The Process

  1. Fill out the form on this page and submit it. Be sure to mention and link to as much as is relevant to your proposal.

  2. Create an account on Quarantime and poke around a bit.

  3. While you're waiting, make sure you have access to a quality webcam and high speed internet.

  4. Sessions will be given through Webex so take the time to sign up and download the app and famililarize yourself with the interface. (It's free, don't worry...)

  5. Once you're approved, we'll get your profile and some dates up for people to book, along with any assets you'll need to promote yourself.

boring but useful

  • PRICING You set the price for your sessions.

  • AVAILABILITY The world is your audience, so while Webex allows you to host up to 100 people at a time, be sure that you are reasonable with your occupancy. If you're giving a concert, 100 guests are perfect. On the other hand, an instructional course where people may want to ask questions would have a much smaller number.

  • rates, payments, and fees Quarantime will take a nominal fee of each transaction to cover platform expenses and site maintenance. (5% of the first five bookings and 10% of every following transaction.) Taxes, expenses, losses, fees associated with money transfers, international exchange, as well as any resulting expenditures resulting from your participation will be the sole responsibility of the  individual giving the session. Quarantime and it's associates will not be held responsible for any money-related issues as part of the willing participation of anyone. Payments will be processed once per week for those sessions which have been completed. Any disputes involving refunds or credits will be deferred to the person giving the session.  Quarantime will neither issue refunds nor be involved in the discussion.

  • Reviews Anyone that interacts with a session leader in any way through this platform—regardless of whether or not they book with you—will have the opportunity to submit feedback. That feedback will be posted to your public profile. That being said, I encourage each guest to keep any negative or demeaning comments to themselves and to preserve the spirit of what this is, a way to entertain and support the global community in a time of crisis.

  • changes Changes to the Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time. The most current and to be referred to for any matters will be the version posted here.

Tell me everything...

No so bad, was it?
